Fischer Medical Ventures' TMIV Imaging Launches Clarion, AI-powered CT Scan System
Time Medical International Ventures (TMIV) India, a Chennai-based medtech organization and exclusively owned subsidiary of Fischer Medical Ventures, has launched its Clarion 64/128-Slice AI-based CT system in India.
The platform integrates CT imaging hardware with AI-driven workflow features designed to help with image acquisition, patient positioning, and operational technology in imaging departments.
Core Capabilities
At the core of the CT technology is an advanced Liquid Metal Bearing (LMB) X-ray tube with 360-degree liquid-metal cooling.
The technology is intended to enhance heat dissipation, maintain stable focal-spot positioning, allow continuous high-speed processing, and increase tube life.
The technology features the organization's Aegis Detector System, intended to improve image clarity and low-contrast detectability while supporting low-dose imaging protocols.
It integrates some intelligent workflow capabilities, involving three-click scanning, AI-driven automatic patient positioning using a quad-lens depth camera, and remote-control functionality.
These abilities are designed to simplify CT operations and enhance workflow effectiveness for imaging sections.
Additionally, the platform is available in configurations of up to 128 slices, helping applications ranging from routine diagnostic imaging to well-developed heart, vascular, nervous, thoracic, abdominal, orthopaedic, and interventional solutions.
Also, the 64-slice configuration features a 91 cm bore, making it suitable for vascular imaging and intraoperative uses, while the 128-slice configuration is intended for solutions requiring increasing temporal resolution.
Beyond conventional diagnostics, the CLARION platform is expanding into interventional and healthcare environments.
The Big Bore CT-on-Rail configuration is designed to help with mobility across clinical scenarios and allows hybrid operating room incorporation.
The technology includes well-developed capabilities like 4D CT phased acquisition to assist in respiratory monitoring and cancer targeting during radiotherapy by reducing motion-driven artifacts.
